Taking place on Tuesday, 10 May, in the Ham Yard Hotel in London, the BIMA 100 was a glittering event with the best and brightest of the British digital world.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.heartinternet.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bima100-bima100.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of the BIMA 100, courtesy of BIMA\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12178\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Along with the BIMA 100, there were also two inductees into the <a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/bima-awards\/docs\/bima_book_hof_web\" target=\"_blank\">BIMA Hall of Fame<\/a> \u2013 Jamal Edwards, founder of SBTV, the online music platform, and Riccardo Zacconi, CEO of King Games, makers of Candy Crush.<\/p>\n<p>Heart Internet sponsored the BIMA 100 Creatives category, focused on the 10 most influential people in creative roles.  As the UK\u2019s largest web host for designers and developers, we were delighted to sponsor these talented people that are the backbone of the Internet.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.heartinternet.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bima100-creativesslide.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of the slide introducing the BIMA 100 Creatives, courtesy of BIMA\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12180\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 10 people included as the BIMA 100 Creatives for 2016 were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nick Bailey, Chief Creative Officer EMEA at Isobar<\/li>\n<li>Steven Bennett-Day, Group Executive Creative Director at Havas helia<\/li>\n<li>Daniel Bonner, Chief Creative Officer for Razorfish<\/li>\n<li>Nicky Bullard, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at MRM Meteorite<\/li>\n<li>Matt Gibson, Chief Creative Officer at Cyber-Duck Ltd<\/li>\n<li>Kat Hahn, Associate Creative Director at R\/GA<\/li>\n<li>Thea Hamr\u00e9n, Associate Creative Director at Mr. President<\/li>\n<li>Julie Seal, Creative Strategist for Facebook<\/li>\n<li>Matthew Tweddle, Creative Director at Only<\/li>\n<li>Phil Wilce, Creative Director at TH_NK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can see the full range of talented people in <a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/bima-awards\/docs\/bima_book_100_web\" target=\"_blank\">the BIMA 100 booklet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.heartinternet.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bima100-presenting.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of Craig Cotter presenting the BIMA 100 Creatives, courtesy of BIMA\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12185\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We were honoured to get a few minutes with some of these inspired people and ask them what they thought about being included in the BIMA 100.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/3onner\" target=\"_blank\">Daniel Bonner<\/a> said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an honour to be included alongside notable industry influences in the BIMA Hot 100 for the third year. Throughout my career I\u2019ve been lucky enough to work alongside many of the individuals listed and I continue to respect and support their work. I believe we are delivering on our commitment to evolve the marketing landscape and transform the business of our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/duckymatt\" target=\"_blank\">Matt Gibson<\/a> said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI feel extremely honoured to be recognised by BIMA in the Hot 100. I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to the wonderful team at Cyber-Duck, without whom it wouldn\u2019t be possible to produce the creative and innovative projects I\u2019ve been involved in over the past year.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/noddynoonah\" target=\"_blank\">Nicky Bullard<\/a> said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWow, what an honour! To be recognised for making a contribution to the industry is wonderful.  And to be described as hot, well\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/iamnottheenemy\" target=\"_blank\">Phil Wilce<\/a> said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cDelighted is an understatement. To be recognised amongst the industry\u2019s brightest starts is testament to the whole team at TH_NK, and I\u2019m immensely proud of the work we do that has afforded me this title.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/theaelisabet\" target=\"_blank\">Thea Hamr\u00e9n<\/a> said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m honoured to be listed as one of the BIMA 100 amongst a lot of movers and shakers in the UK digital scene.
