You can already buy sunglasses, phone covers, stationary and clothing in Very Peri tones.<\/p>\n<p>Websites with colour schemes similar to Very Peri are also receiving increased attention and a few have already won design awards this year.<\/p>\n<p>In this article, we\u2019ll showcase some of these sites and others that use similar periwinkle colour schemes, to give you a little extra inspiration for your web designs in 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is Very Peri?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Very Peri is Pantone\u2019s Colour of the Year for 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, the company\u2019s colour experts analyse patterns in all sorts of sectors, from fashion to film to pick out a colour they believe will be popular and influential in the coming year.<\/p>\n<p>Pantone said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEncompassing the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time possessing a violet-red undertone, Very Peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The power of periwinkle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Pantone\u2019s Very Peri is a unique colour in itself, it\u2019s certainly similar to periwinkle purple.<\/p>\n<p>Periwinkle is a delicate Mediterranean flowering plant with small blue\/violet flowers. The plant\u2019s name was first used to describe a colour in 1922.<\/p>\n<p>With a blue\/violet hue, periwinkle is said to have the following \/><\/p>\n<p>Sugar free ice cream company Denada has a website that\u2019s impressive all round.<\/p>\n<p>Periwinkle is just one of the pastel colours used in the scheme of this site, which also uses fun mouseover effects, slock transitions and animations.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Sweet Paradise<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
