Why is HostPay emailing me to tell me that products have expired when I’ve already renewed them?

Article Number: 371 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Thu, Apr 23, 2015 at 12:01 PM

When you open the email, you will see that the HostPay expiration date has not been updated, even though the actual product has been updated.

As an example, in the email, you may see:

Customer: bob@your-domain.com
Service: Package Starter (your-domain.com)
Due Date: 31/12/2014
Package Frequency: Yearly

If you renewed the package manually without going through HostPay, the expiration date will still be 31/12/2014 rather than the new expiration date.

You can update this expiration date manually:

  1. Log into your Reseller Control Centre
  2. Click ‘HostPay’
  3. Click ‘Your Customers’
  4. Search for your customer via their email address or find them in the list
  5. Click the ‘Click Here’ link to access their details
  6. Scroll down to the ‘Services’ section
  7. Click ‘Edit’ for the expired services
  8. Update the relevant expiration date to the new expiration date
  9. Click ‘Update’
  10. The expiration date will now be updated
