How do I change the contact details on my domain?

You can change the contact details on your domain through the Domain Control Panel.  You can either use a single contact for all roles, or use different contacts for each role.

The roles attached with the domain name are:

• Owner
• Technical Contact
• Administrative Contact
• Billing Contact

To change the contact details:

• Log into your Domain Control Panel
• Unlock the domain name
• Click ‘Change Contacts’
• Enter in the single contact you want to use for all roles, or click the link for specifying different contacts for each role
• Click ‘Update’
• The contact details will be changed

If you want to change the owner of a .uk domain, you will need to make a request directly to Nominet.

To change the owner of a .uk domain:

• Go to www.nominet.org.uk
• Go to ‘Support’
• Go to ‘Login to Online Services’

You might need to create an account with them if you don’t have one already and ask for the Registrant Transfer service.
