Where can I find my email server, user name, and password?

If you are still using Heart Internet’s nameservers and have not changed the DNS records for mail, your mail server will always be the subdomain:


And your user name is the full email address.

So, for example, if your domain name is this-is-my-domain.co.uk and your email address is owner@this-is-my-domain.co.uk, your mail server would be:


And your user name would be:


The password will be the password you set when you created the mail box.  If you are not certain of what the password was, and you have a hosting package, you can check in the eXtend Control Panel.

To find the password for your mail box in your eXtend Control Panel:

  1. Log in
  2. Click ‘Mail Boxes’
  3. Scroll down to the list of email addresses
  4. Hover your mouse over the password field
  5. The password will be revealed

If you have a stand-alone mailbox, without a hosting package, you can find the password in your Heart Internet Customer Area.

To find the password for your mail box in the Heart Internet Customer Area:

  1. Log in
  2. Click ‘Manage Add-ons’
  3. Click ‘Mail Boxes’
  4. Scroll down to your email address
  5. The password should be visible
