The main reason why your secure site is not showing the padlock is due to the use of an http:// link somewhere inside the page.
Any absolute links inside of a page you wish to be secure must have https://. Check all your scripts and images to see if any of them could be causing this issue and adjust to be an https:// link or a virtual reference.
For example, if your page https://www.your-domain.com/shop/ does not show the padlock, it may be due to an image link such as:
<img src=”http://www.your-domain.com/shop/images/blueshirt.jpg”>
If there is something like that in your site, you can either change it to an https:// link:
<img src=”https://www.your-domain.com/shop/images/blueshirt.jpg”>
Or to a virtual link:
<img src=”images/blueshirt.jpg”>
