Nice article Matthew:
We are redesigning our site and will be using a lot of the material that you have given us: A BIG THANK YOU..
But i still say and will until you guys do it “Magento” one click installation lots of other companies are now offering it and I think that heart should look into it as well
Cheers for that! Is there any outlook on getting Host Pay to run on a WordPress installation? I’ve mentioned it a couple of times over the year in the ‘suggestion box’. It’s a pretty popular platform now, I’m guessing I’d not be the only one to find it useful.
Any info, either way , would be great.
Thanks. And keep these quality articles coming, some great stuff. Love the UK design sites post the other day. Brilliant.
Cheers
Mark.
Matthew, very nice job as always! You giving the best tools for the resellers. Many thanks!
I think that Magento eCommercemust be the next update of your “One Click Installation Scripts”.
Magento eCommerce will rise your services to the top. Matthew, what is your opinion about that?
Excellent article.
All coming along well.
That’s a good idea Davide, would be good if HI could offer the professional version too 🙂
Excellent stuff,
Gabi
Chris,
Its something we have looked at in the past and found it to be too resource hungry for a shared hosting platform. As far as I am aware, that is still our opinion.
cheers
Matt
Mark,
Thanks for the positive feedback on the articles, its always great to hear. With regards to HostPay and WordPress, we currently don’t have any plans to integrate HostPay with WordPress.
Matt
Hi Matt,
I have to echo the calls for Magento One Click…could this be looked at again?
Maybe there is a way to see what server usage is being used by those who have installed it manually on your shared hosting?
Thanks
Freddie
Id really like to see host pay integrated with wordpress
Hi,
In what way would you want wordpress integrated with hostpay ?
Do you mean have hostpay tools in the wp admin ?
Or just a wp frontend with matching hostpay checkout pages ?
I think he’s referring to hostpay tools in the WordPress admin.
It would be great to get HostPay integrated into wordpress. Giving us a wordpress CMS to add all the aditional pages eg Web Design, About Us, etc and then having the functionality of HostPay alongside to allow customers to login to their hostpay (not wordpress) account and manage their accounts.
The HI templates are ok but not having a decent CMS to back it up is a bit poor in my eyes.
Hi Dan,
HostPay is first and foremost a billing and CRM system. We have made some templates available to speed up development process, but HostPay is not a CMS.
We have plans to make it easier to integrate in to CMS such as WordPress, but HostPay is not a CMS itself.
Cheers,
Matt
Well once HP is integrated with WordPress it will make my life so much easier, I have tried coding HP as it currently stands and I for one can’t get it to look and work as I want it to
It can be done 🙂
We have a fully integrated WordPress site with HostPay orders and customer account management. It took a few weeks for a very skilled developer (not me!), but it works great and makes it easy for us to manage both the frontend sales/conversion and integrate products and promotions with hostpay etc.
But there is the problem Richard, it took a very skilled developer to achieve, what we ideally need are a series of plugins that can be used and implemented with very little coding.
I am sure I am not alone in wishing for this and I am not expecting this to be free if done by a 3rd party.
I agree with you Lee, you are far from a alone. Heart Internet is a fantastic service an I will continue to resell there products as I have never had a problem with their service or support.
I do however find it very frustrating that Heart Keep saying ‘we have plans to’ there have been comments about integrating into WordPress since back in 2010 if not before yet we still have no visible progress or relate date.
Heart – are you able to give us an indication of when you should have a solution for this? Next month, 6 month 1 year etc.
Thanks
Hi Gary,
We appreciate your concerns; this is the exact reason we try to avoid giving timescales unless we know for certain, because otherwise it can end up being disappointing. Our dev team has so many projects on the go at any one time – with more appearing and stealing priority all the time – that it’s just impossible to say. With that in mind, I would imagine it’s going to be at least six months because it’s part of a much bigger project. Sorry we can’t be more specific, we’re not trying to hide details or mislead and we know how useful it will be – it’s just that there is always so much going on and other things take priority.

Hi. RIchard. Please Can you recommend or link me with the developer that integrated your worpress site with hostpay ?
