We’ve had a lot of people requesting BlackBerry Enterprise Services (BES) on our Hosted Microsoft Exchange platform, so we’re happy to announce that it’s now available to all web hosting, dedicated server and reseller hosting customers!
BES gives you the same level of functionality for Microsoft Exchange mailboxes as other ActiveSync devices (such as iPhones and many Android phones). You’ll be able to sync email, contacts, calendar, tasks, notes and more between your BlackBerry and your Exchange Mailbox, saving time and hassle if you’re a business user.
If you have a BlackBerry, you can take advantage of Exchange on your phone for just £5.99 per month. Resellers can also offer the same service to their hosting customers. Please note that typically only those with business mobile tariffs will be able to add BlackBerry Enterprise Services as consumer handsets tend to have the functionality disabled.
Setting up BlackBerry Enterprise Services for Hosted Exchange
Simply log in to your eXtend control panel and navigate to Manage > Add-ons in the menu on the right.

Then follow the instructions on the screen to set up BlackBerry Exchange Services for your Hosted Exchange mailbox. An activation email containing a PIN code will be sent to your Exchange mailbox. Follow the Enterprise Activation instructions from your BlackBerry handset to complete the process.
From the add-ons screen you can view your active BlackBerry Enterprise Services enabled mailboxes and resend your activation password(s) if required.
