Last Friday evening, we headed down to Nottingham’s town centre to see the launch event for PixelPyros, a series of digital fireworks shows created by programming mastermind Seb Lee-Delisle.

Crowds of people gathered in front of a 60 foot screen and groups began to eagerly line up to fire digital rockets and lasers from a series of pulsating orbs.
This proved to be an amazing spectacle with colourful fireworks soaring and bursting into the digital sky accompanied by an exciting soundtrack.

As the event went on, the crowd were also able to play games of Space Invaders and Asteroids which looked spectacular on the huge screen.

We’re very proud to have been involved in PixelPyros and to have helped in sharing the possibilities of coding and programming with the people of Nottingham. If you want to see more pictures from the show, take a look at our Flickr page.
PixelPyros will continue to tour across the UK until December 7th with events taking place in Brighton, Leicester and Huddersfield, so if you're nearby give yourself the chance to enjoy this fantastic experience.
