The future of web hosting technology is here! All our web hosting is now being upgraded to our brand new cloud hosting platform, at no extra cost. This means you don’t have to pay more to benefit from the reliability and performance of UK cloud hosting.
All new customers who buy web hosting with us are now being setup on the cloud hosting platform, and all our existing Starter Pro, Home Pro, Business Pro and Reseller Pro customers are currently being automatically upgraded.
If you are a Reseller Pro customer, all new web hosting packages you create will be on our cloud platform. So, not only will you also be able to use the advantages of cloud hosting for your own websites, you will also be able to advertise and sell it to your clients.
Total cloud coverage
Because our cloud servers do not rely on one single server to power your website or databases, you benefit from faster page load speeds and increased reliability. Using fully optimised cloud server clusters to support each other, these resources can be called upon instantly at any time so your website is always running at optimum levels.
No action required
The upgrade process will be done entirely by us, so there is no action required for you to benefit from this exciting new technology. All upgrades will be done seamlessly with no break in service or any down time for your website. We are unable to provide customers with a website by website schedule for the upgrade, however this process will be complete by the end of the year.
In the meantime, for more information, go to our web hosting or reseller hosting pages to see how the new technology can benefit you.

Awesome
hi this all sound exciting will we be informed as to when our accounts have been upgraded or will it just happen without us being informed
How will this affect IP addresses for website currently on shared server hosting and for new hosting set up for websites? How many sites will share the same IP address on cloud hosting or will each site have its own IP address?
Hi Chris,
We have already started the process to move everyone across and we’ll update everyone once it is done.
Matt
Hi David,
It won’t have any affect on IP addresses, it is business as usual.
Matt
If our websites rely on a mysql database, how does the cloud hosting platform handle the transfer of a database from one server to another?
(say if the server hosting the mysql database is withdrawn from the cluster) ?
Hi Michael,
We’ve built the cloud platform so that we can make these types of changes without anything needing to be updated on our customers’ side. Your database information and connections will always remain the same no matter what is going on at the server level.
Cheers,
Rob
Not sure if this has been asked before, but what underlying cloud tech are you using? is it based for instance on EC2? or something proprietary? (I have customers that would like to know).
Hi Gary,
Our cloud hosting technology doesn’t use EC2 as it’s all in-house.
Cheers,
Rob
