Last week Kate talked through the ways in which building your website is like a ghost train experience, and we thought an infographic would provide the perfect quick-reference visual guide.

Our in-house illustrator Jamie quickly got to work on mocking up some sketches based on the stages and points Kate outlined in her original blog post:

The next stage was translating the rough sketches to the big screen using Adobe Illustrator. Each small detail was worked in by hand, and the image went through eight draft stages before it was ready to be finalised and published.

All of Kate's tips were carefully worked into the infographic in order to make each element represent the written text in multiple ways. No attention to detail was spared thanks to the power of caffeine and geeky playlists.
