We have now added Automattic’s Jetpack to all new WordPress installs (and updated WordPress to 3.1.1). Jetpack is a bundle of the most popular WordPress plug-ins that you can add to your WordPress site in one easy install, saving you a lot of time.

All new WordPress installs on our Home Pro and Business Pro web hosting accounts will automatically have this added. If you are one of our reseller hosting customers and you offer WordPress to your customers, they will get this as well. The plug-in pack includes:

To install Jetpack on your WordPress site, once you have completed the set up process click on ‘Plugins’ in your left hand navigation. You will see you already have Akismet, Hello Dolly and now Jetpack.

Click on ‘activate’ which brings up this message…

Click on ‘Connect to wordpress.com’ and once there, enter your wordpress.com details (or set up an account). It is as easy as that.
