Based on your feedback (thanks for that), you can now create and manage special alert messages to be displayed in your customer’s eXtend control panels. This great new feature can be used for any type of message, and will be especially useful for advertising messages, news alerts, feature updates and product announcements.
Here is an example of one we created earlier…

You can create as many messages as you wish, and apply them to the packages of your choice.
Getting started
This new feature can be found in the “Reseller Preferences” section of your RCC, in the brand new “eXtend Message Centre”. To create a message…
- • Type the heading and message you want to display, along with any links.• Choose which package(s) you want to see this message.• If you want to see what it will look like before publishing, click “Preview”. If you are happy to proceed, click “Submit”.• Your alert is now being shown in your clients’ eXtend control panels!
.
Managing existing alerts is just as easy. From the same page you can update your text, disable/ enable the alert on a package by package basis or delete it altogether.
When we say we act on your feedback to improve your reseller hosting, we mean it (the eXtend message centre being one of many). If you have any ideas you would like to see us implement, let us know via your Reseller Feedback Form. They all get read by senior managers, and whilst we never promise they will all be acted upon, we alwayswant to hear what you have to say.

That’s great, although the real feature that we would love to see (and have asked for again and again for 5 years) is API access to the control panel at super user level.
Now that would get 10/10 for us.
Hi Dave,
Thanks for your comment. This isn’t something that we have plans for at the moment.
Cheers,
Rob
Thanks Rob,
Maybe if you could pass a pretty please to your developers, I’m guessing its just a flag that needs adding into the API, after all the functionality already works from your own control panel.
Cheers,
Dave.
Hi Dave,
We’ll pass this on to our developers.
Cheers,
Rob
