No limits on how many websites you can host

We don’t place any artificial limits on how many websites you can host. 1, 10, 100, 1,000 or 10,000, if you can attract them, you can host them on our servers!

No limits on how customisable you want it to be

Every aspect of your reseller hosting is fully customisable with no extra fees required to make it so. If you can think of it you can brand it.

No limits on adding more features

We want you to be a success and the best way to do that is untie your hands and let you sell without fear of being charged more for doing well!

The price we charge per month (£29.99) or per year (£299.99) is the only fee we will want from you for your reseller hosting. There are no hidden fees or extras to unlock features that are an essential part of reselling hosting. We won’t charge you to give your customers a control panel, to re-brand the webmail or offer graphical stats and we won’t give you a basic package (e.g. 5 MySQL free) and then ask you to pay for more afterwards.

No limits on what you can sell

We don’t charge you an extra monthly fee for the ability to resell domain names or dedicated servers; you just pay the cost of the domain or server itself. This means that if for any reason you don’t sell any over a time period you don’t have to pay us anything.

If you are new to Heart Internet check out our reseller comparison table to see how we hold up against other web hosting resellers.

so once again another reseller post without mentioning your terms and conditions statement of 25gb???

  • Matthew says:

    Neil,

Our terms refer specifically to sites that allow downloading of video and audio and alike which can potentially have a diverse effect on other customers if we don’t monitor them. It is also worth pointing out we don’t say it is a limit across the board but rather one we reserve the right to apply and that other uses remain unlimited…

    <i>

“The Hosting Services allow you ‘unlimited’ server space for normal routine “non-file-distribution” web usage. For websites that allow downloading of video, audio or other files we reserve the right to impose a bandwidth limit of twenty-five (25) gigabytes (26,843,545,600 bytes) per calendar month. <b>Non-file-distribution usage will remain unaffected by any limit imposed on downloading of video, audio or other files.</h4>

    Cheers

Thanks for the reply, and it is good to see it being discussed this time around! i raised this on a number of occasions detailing it as a good part of your terms. a logical inclusion to protect the general users of your site.

if you are hitting 25gb of traffic, then processing is so high a dedi-box would be more advisable anyway!

Now offering a power reseller would be my next request that goes missed!!! pay as you go style on bandwidth, processing, memory, etc to allow for more high-end sites with the ease of reseller… i personally would immediately get my own dedicated box if it came as managed with the reseller ease interface.

After all i am a web site designer / developer – not a hardcore *nix operator

I personally would love heart internet to offer a cheap dynamic cloud server (allowing upgrades and downgrades as well as custom specs) ive seen other hosting companies doing this and feel that cheaper dedicated servers and dynamic clouds would give new users a head start.

    just an idea

I would love to see VPS offered. I have a few who have asked for more control over the box for running experiments (genuine experiments not stupid proxy services etc) and so being able to get a virtual server with root or super would be ideal for them.

It would also allow me to setup a few experimental services then when it looks like I have a bite from enough users, I can then consider switching to a dedicated server.

Although, I am still curious how H/I protects themselves not from bandwidth hogs, but from massive bulk hosting. If my marketing campaign proved successful enough that I get 10,000 sing ups for 10,000 unlimited accounts, how are H/I making a profit on that?

  • Matthew says:

    Gareth

We have a number of customer who are at that level already and our profit comes from all the add-on products on top of the hosting such as Search Engine Submision, Site Builder, domain names etc. When any site becomes that big a dedicated servertends to become a must for their own site as well.
