We’re looking for another web designer to join our team here in Nottingham. If you’re passionate about web design and within commuting distance (or happy to move), we want to hear from you. What we need from you
• High proficiency in coding standards compliant websites in XHTML/CSS.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (ideally Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
• An understanding of JavaScript and popular JS libraries such as jQuery.
• Understanding of web usability and information architecture, knowledge of wireframes and mock-ups (UI & IA Design) would be beneficial.
• Experience in creating promotion material e.g. web banners, newsletters etc would be beneficial.
• You should have a natural flair for creative design as well as knowledge of web design and design tools.
• Be passionate about the industry and willing to keep up-to-date with the latest web design trends.
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas to line manager and other non-design team members to gain sign-off.
• Experience in designing for print would be beneficial but not essential.
• A positive, can do attitude and a strong team player.

Working closely with our senior web designer, your role will include:
• Designing & implementing new and exciting marketing strategies.
• Updating our main website and its accompanying promotional material.

It genuinely is a great place to work.
Just like any prospective client out there you search and search and compare and even sleep over it before you buy a product. Having read the Book Blink by Malcolm Gladwell, turns out that the first contact with a product will always tell you whether a product will a success or not. Turns out that that first contact with hi was right after all.
My point is that we (hi and I) have come along way even though I joined late 2010. So much has happened in that period and am glad I became hi reseller.
Such investments as above can only mean good times for me as a reseller, and bad economy like this I can only encourage more to hope in on board and become resellers.
Am sure whoever gets this job will be one of the luckiest working with one of the best service providers in this industry. And I know she/he will help develop, design and create good stuff for us the resellers. Good luck guys and go for it.
My only hope is that hi re-thinks how they can get to have reseller theme templates up and running so that all they can do is individually customize it to their needs at a charge(uk2 offers such a service for a fee).
