How to Enter
To enter the competition, all you have to do is complete any or all of the tasks below. Each task is worth a different number of entries, and some can be completed once per day, so keep checking back throughout December to add more entries into the pot and increase your chances of winning. Entries close 24th December.

As a small – sometimes struggling business – a VPS would help me set up Dev sites a lot easier and be able to show case our work – And, I could use it for hosting, storing my own docs and images and using it as Storage for the hundreds of gigs I have on various hard drives in my office. I love Heart Internet and you know it….

If I won the prize I would use the VPS in my hosting set up and punt the MAC to the mugs who overpay for Apple hardware via eBay. The Self stirring mug is one I would keep for myself though.

I would like to start by saying i’ve held by heart account open for over 3 years and have used vps’s, ded servers and soon will be looking at a shiny new hybrid server. I would use the prizes to deck out our office with speakers that dont sound tinny and a computer with the processing power to do more online faster!
The vps would be great to be used as a dev area for us to better test sites before making them live.

Would LOVE the new Apple iMac, mine is geting old! I saw one of those self stirring mugs in Debenhams and thought my bro, who is suffering from sciatica at the moment and more or less bed bound, would benefit from the help.

Would be a great end to the year and I would use the mac to investigate building native apps for the mac ecosystem!
A new iMac would help me be more efficient and complete work quicker and get more clients as I would be able to replace my 6 year old iMac
What would I use it all for? I’d use it to upgrade my home office to make me a better developer, with a really cool self stirring cup to show off to all of my friends and colleagues. I’d also use the Mac to play some games, and of course I’d use it to design the website monitoring system I mentioned in my facebook post (https://www.facebook.com/heartinternet/posts/499796666718783) which would be free for all Heart Internet customers!

Wow, I love it when Heart Internet help smaller independents and freelancers with initiatives like this. I have just discovered the benefits of VPS’s as a reseller and would love my one of own, it’s great for WordPress sites like ours. Having access to a iMac would be fantastic and would allow me to operate much more efficiently … which would probably benefit my clients just as much as me!
I would love this bundle. We currently only have the one computer between the two of us and would be ideal to have another so we can get twice as much done and more designs. This prize bundle would help us get threw the work load faster.
Winning would allow me to delve into IOS development. The iMac would become my day to day PC.
The prize would furnish my new office space in my new home. The Mac would move me from a PC user to a Mac, a leap I would love to make but the price tag keeps stopping me – this would then allow me to continue to develop great websites for my clients.

I need to build up confidence in any products that I am selling. I have total confidence in Heart Internet as a web host, I have been a reseller for years now. Their customer service is first class.
Winning a VPS would allow me to play with it, experiment, test and deploy some power-hungry websites. I can then sell these services on with confidence. And of course the iMac would help me access the VPS.

I would love to win this what a great prize! I’d use it to get writing, my poetry and for writing a fictional book. I also do photography as a hobby so this equipment would be fab!
I’d use it for all my design work! Working on programmes like the adobe suite and CAD all at the same time have killed two laptops during my degree already, they just can’t handle the power needed to work them! The Apple iMac would be amazing, our PC has packed in so it would make a fabulous replacement. It would be amazing with graphic design & AutoCAD. If I won I would use everything and would especially love to move across to an iMac away from Windows… have always wanted a iMac but have never taken the big leap. I’m sure this would open up a whole new world and also help with knowing what Apple based clients are going on about…. Everything would sound great through the Bose system and ideal to relax when in office to some tunes. I’d backup everything with Time Machine to the 2TB Time Capsule. I’d add the VPS onto my hosting platform to move my business site to a dedicated server away from client sites. A self stiring mug will be ideal for my black coffee 🙂

At the beginning of this year, my old company failed to keep going due to customers not paying their bills. Since the day I left the office I vowed to learn from my very costly mistakes and launch the business again someday. The equipment would be used to get the business going properly. That day will be at the end of January 2013.
Would make like so much easier having something which could handle my design software and a self stirring mug that just tops the deal! not having to stir myself.

Im fortunate enough to have everything I need so I would donate the prizes to the local primary school where the children would benefit far more.
