need to get 1000Mbps Connection upgrade sorted, i just keep getting customers asking for this

It’s very rare that any web hosting customer would need a 1000Mbps connection; the vast majority of sites on the internet use far less than that on average.
they always ask for it as it is faster on data transfer backup and so on, i got ask for a windows server the other and they asked for it, its because other site offer it, big time in the eu and usa and many other sites in the uk now on better servers (i can give you a list but you just end up removing it)

It would only make a difference in a extremely tiny minority of circumstances – it’s so unlikely to be needed or made use of at this moment that we prefer to invest more time and resources into things which have much bigger benefits for a far higher number of customers (higher spec quality hardware and other such things). Might be worth explaining to your customers that the vast majority of sites/customers don’t use more than 50mbps for anything, let alone 1000mbps!
