Come and join Heart Internet on Google+! We’re officially now on the social network, and we’re offering you the chance to win a VPS by joining us! Read on to find out more…
Tip: If you’re having difficulty remembering our URL (we certainly are!), simply bookmark https://gplus.to/heartinternet.
What’s different
We’ve always held the view that different social networks need different content, and our Google+ stream is no exception. We avoid posting identical messages to the same social networks, and we don’t automate our tweets or status updates. If you follow us on Twitter and/or Facebook you’ll know that we very rarely post sales messages – and there will be even fewer on our Google+ page.
We believe that social networks are there to provide value for you, not us, and as such our Google+ page will be tailored specifically to designers, developers, resellers and other web creatives. You’re welcome to hang out with us whether you can write PHP with your eyes closed or just appreciate beautiful design.
We’d love you to contribute to our Google+ page, whether you’re offering advice, posting a resource or simply asking a question; we want to make it a beneficial community to everyone. Feel free to get people’s opinions on your designs, upload your own resources for other people to download, share interesting tools and talk business. It’s over to you.
Win a VPS!
We’ll be running plenty of contests and partnering with some very talented people and companies to bring you exclusive discounts and giveaways, so add us to your circles to avoid missing out.
To kick off, we’re giving away a shiny new Heart Internet Linux Base VPS for a year! With a 50GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, cPanel and unlimited bandwidth, it’s a great way to try out our latest powerful hosting product. If you’re looking for higher specs, feel free to upgrade it via your control panel and only pay the difference. Find out more on our VPS hosting page.

Do you not think that Google is becoming to much a monopoly…And the only way to get decent ranking you “HAVE” to have something Google?
Great question Davide. I personally think Google’s services are generally extremely valuable to site owners and businesses, and their data collection is at least going towards improving search and communication rather than just being sold privately for the sake of it (like on some other networks). I don’t think you need to use any of Google’s services to get good rankings.
With regards to Heart Internet being on Google+, our main reason for being on there is because it’s a network that has attracted a lot of people interested in technology, particularly designers and developers, and that naturally falls in with what we talk about and the services we provide. Whether you join us there or not is completely up to you 🙂

I will follow HI to the end 😉
Glad to hear it Davide! Looking forward to your thoughts on HTML 8 and CSS 6! 😀
