Zombie Hunt is officially over! Except…not quite. We couldn’t let it go without a quick rundown (and recap) of the events that unfolded…

A bit of background…

As with 99% of the stuff we do, Zombie Hunt was done completely in-house. We wanted to create a story that played on the natural cliches and humour of zombie films whilst incorporating extra geek twists to appeal to our readers and followers. There was a special emphasis on British zombie and horror classics; if there’s anything the UK does well (apart from web hosting, obviously), it’s zombie films! Some things also had double references; the mention of a ‘familiar TV presenter’ on Day 3 doubled as both Davina McCall in Dead Set and a zombie/Heart Internet-themed Suzi Perry.

We had a lot of fun putting Zombie Hunt together and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We opened up Zombie Hunt for comments along with submissions, and we received some fantastic responses, ranging from the practical to the philosophical to the worryingly savage. Here are our highlights:
