Its not that ironic when you also include the line where we say “we’ve included links to the resources as-is for inspiration and your modifications. We recommend reading the FAQs fully before creating any designs or registering related domain names.”

How do you come to that conclusion? You’ve created very specific design elements that use rings and the London 2012 logo. You’re in clear violation of the guidelines by including them on any level on your website. The line you mention is irrelevant.
I just so happen to believe restrictions on the use of Olympic material is absolutely bonkers. But it is ironic.
(I’m not the OP, just thought I’d point that out for the record!)

We didn’t create any of these ourselves, we are showcasing them for inspiration. CSS showcases do the same with entire websites, but they aren’t asking you to rip off other websites, just use them for ideas.
