Announcing our new support database | Heart Internet Blog – Focusing on all aspects of the web

We have launched a brand new version of the support database. Fully updated, reorganised, and rewritten, the new support database is not just available to our customers, but also to the general public.

You can now find it at

www.heartinternet.uk/support

Why have we updated it?

While we are still quite proud of the former support database, it was filled with information that was once useful, but was now well past its sell-by date. And the information that is still quite useful was difficult to find. Whether pointing out a cPanel error that had been fixed since 2010, or telling you how to build your ICQ contact page, it hadn’t quite kept up with the times. And if we want you, our customers, to get the best possible answers to your questions, then we need to make sure they are as up to date as possible.

What do you mean by reorganisation?

With new products launched on a regular basis, we want to make sure you can find exactly what you need, exactly where you’re looking for it. Whether you have a Hybrid Server, use HostPay, or are trying to figure out WebMail, we hope that our new categories work for you.

And why rewrite?

If you’re going to update the information, why not rewrite it? We worked to make it hopefully a lot easier to understand and easier to find, with more step-by-step instructions and explanations on the hows and whys of our answers. Plus, we made sure that the titles were questions – just like the questions you ask us on a regular basis.

Where do I find it?

Right now, you can find the Support Database at www.heartinternet.uk/support. We are working to have it within your Heart Internet Customer Area as well.

What about my customers?

If you’re a reseller, the support database you offer your customers will remain the same for the time being. We have a plan in place to completely update and rewrite it to give you customers the same high-quality support we give you.

What if I have a question?
