What do you enjoy most about working in care?

I enjoy the technical side of the job, being able to encounter new issues and their resolutions, and learning new methods of troubleshooting.

What qualities do you believe you have to have to be able to succeed in customer care?

You need to have a certain degree of understanding and empathy and to be able to put yourself in the shoes of the client. Every single customer is different, and you should be able to handle every case in the appropriate manner.

What’s the most helpful thing you’ve ever done for a customer?

No query is less important than another, so I give 100 percent of my attention to every single question I receive and always try to be the most helpful I can be.

What is the best bit of feedback you’ve had from a customer?

The best feedback I can hope for is confirmation that everything is working properly at the end of the case.

What’s your favourite thing to help with in your role?

I always enjoy myself when I get to troubleshoot website issues as I get to understand the process of merging both back-end and front-end developing.

How do you relax when you’re not in work?

I spend a lot of my free time watching movies and tv shows. Don’t get me started on Japanese animations.

Since I started working in technical support, I have developed a habit of watching a lot of lectures and tutorials on topics that could potentially benefit me in my work, too.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I can draw a decent bit, but I wouldn’t call this a talent exactly, it’s more of a developed skill.

I can catch things thrown at me with my mouth, now this is what I call a real talent.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I speak Spanish. I also dress well.

What’s your idea of a perfect weekend?

Spending time with my significant other, catching up on my studies, binge watching a season of a sitcom, cooking some good food (or ordering some not-so-good food). Overall, the perfect weekend for me is a relaxing one.
