How do I delete my customers’ data?

Article Number: 700 | Rating: 1/5 from 2 votes | Last Updated: Fri, May 4, 2018 at 5:04 PM

Before you delete your customer's data from your Reseller account, you will need to make certain that you have removed all domains, hosting packages, or add-ons from the customer's account.

Once you have deleted your customer's account, you cannot retrieve any information from it. If there is anything that you are required to save (such as invoices), please ensure that information is in a separate and secure location before deleting the account.

To delete your customer's data in the Reseller Control Centre:

  1. Log into your 'Customer Control Panel'
  2. Go to your 'Reseller Control Centre'
  3. Click 'Customer Database'
  4. Click the customer's name under 'Current Contacts'
  5. Click 'Delete'
  6. Your customer will be deleted

To delete your customer's data in HostPay:

  1. Log into your 'Customer Control Panel'
  2. Go to your 'Reseller Control Centre'
  3. Click 'HostPay'
  4. Click 'Your Customers' under 'Management'
  5. Tick the box under the 'Delete' column for the customer you want to remove
  6. Click 'Delete'
  7. Your customer will be deleted
