If a backup has been restored to your hosting/webspace but not overwritten existing files it will normally have been restored to a "restored" folder or similar next to "public_html".
To replace the existing files with the restored ones you will need to remove/move the current "public_html" folder and replace it with the one from within the "restored" folder after verifying the restored files.
If you manage your files via an FTP client please see instructions for your client on moving folders.
If you manage your files via the eXtend Control Panel's File Manager please follow these steps:
Step 1 of 4
Right click the current "public_html" folder and select from the drop down menu either "delete" if you no longer have need of the current files or have already taken an offsite backup, or "rename" if you still need to download a copy of these files for any reason.
Step 2 of 4
Open the "restored" folder
Step 3 of 4
Right click the "public_html" folder that's in the "restored" folder and select "Move".
Step 4 of 4
In the "Please enter the directory to move to" popup enter only a single forward slash "/" and click "Okay".
The restored files should now be in the place of the original "public_html" folder and navigating to the domain will load the site using those new files.
