You can change the contact details on your domain through the Domain Control Panel. You can either use a single contact for all roles, or use different contacts for each role.
The roles attached with the domain name are:
- Owner
- Technical Contact
- Administrative Contact
- Billing Contact
To change the contact details:
- Log into your Domain Control Panel
- Click ‘Change Contacts’
- Enter in the single contact you want to use for all roles, or click the link for specifying different contacts for each role
- Click ‘Update’
- The contact details will be changed
If you want to change the owner of a .uk domain, you will need to make a request directly to Nominet.
To change the owner of a .uk domain:
- Go to www.nominet.org.uk
- Go to ‘UK Domain names’
- Go to ‘Manage your Domain’
- Go to ‘Change details’
- Create a Nominet account, then change your details as needed
