It's possible to send SMS notifications for bookings using the WooCommerce Twilio plugin.
Required: WooCommerce Bookings is a premium WooCommerce extension included with WordPress Ecommerce Hosting or as a standalone purchase.
Send SMS notifications via Twilio
When both the WooCommerce Bookings and Twilio plugins are active, you can access SMS notifications by navigating to WooCommerce > Settings > SMS.
You can send the following SMS messages using the WooCommerce Twilio integration:
- Admin reminder: sent to admins before the start of a booking
- Admin cancellation: sent to admins when a booking status is changed to canceled
- Customer reminder: sent to customer before the start of a booking
- Customer follow up: sent to a customer as a follow-up after a booking is completed
- Customer cancellation: sent to a customer when a booking status is changed to canceled
- Customer confirmation: sent to a customer when a booking status is changed to confirmed
