Are there generic nameservers and an IPSTAG that I can use for my customers?

As a reseller, you have the option of using our branded nameservers and IPSTAG or use our generic ones.

Nameservers

For our Heart Internet nameservers, use:

ns.heartinternet.co.uk
ns2.heartinternet.co.uk

For our generic nameservers, use:

ns.mainnameserver.com
ns2.mainnameserver.com

For an additional fee, you can also have your own nameservers, using one of your own domain names. To add this feature, please visit the Add-ons section under ‘Order’ in your Heart Internet Customer Area.

Please remember that changes to nameservers can take between 48 and 72 hours to propagate across the web.

IPSTAG

If you would like to use a more generic ISPTAG for .uk domain names, you can use our EXTEND Nominet ISPTAG.

To set your Nominet tag preferences:

1. Log into your Heart Internet Customer Area
2. Click ‘Reseller Control Centre’
3. Click ‘Nominet Tag’
4. Select the Nominet tag you wish to use
5. Select whether or not you want all your UK domains to move to this tag
6. Include your email address or phone number, which Nominet will not publish but may divulge as needed to registrants contacting Nominet directly
7. Click ‘Update’
8. Your Nominet tag will be the one you wish to use
