Can I run an Internet Radio Station on my hosting account?

You cannot run an Internet Radio Station on a shared hosting account. We do not support Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) or live streaming. Any account discovered to be running such a script will be disabled.

RTSP and other live streaming systems can take up a lot of a server’s processing power, which can cause difficulty for the other customers who are also on the server.

You are free to run any RTSP or live streaming software on one of our Dedicated Server packages.
