Can I run an IRC Bot or other IRC related scripts on my hosting account?

The running of any IRC-related scripts on your shared hosting account is strictly forbidden and against our Terms and Conditions.

Any account discovered to be running such a script will be disabled.

This is to protect other customers on the server. IRC scripts can use up a lot of the server’s processing power and cause problems with the other sites.

You are free to run any number of IRC scripts on one of our Dedicated Server packages.
