Can I unlock FTP for multiple IP addresses or a DNS address?

You can set up multiple IP addresses to have permanent access to your FTP without a time limit.

1. Log into your eXtend Control Panel
2. Go to the Unlock FTP bar on the side panel
3. Under Unlock by IP, enter in the IP addresses separated by a comma
4. Click ‘Unlock’
5. The IP addresses will now have access

It is not possible to unlock FTP for a DNS address.

The FTP server cannot authenticate the DNS address against the information passed via your FTP client, and therefore cannot confirm that you are coming from the correct address.
