Create a Minimum Amount Cart Notice

A Minimum Amount Cart Notice will be displayed when a target amount for the notice is met. As an example, if the target value is $30 and the cart items currently add up $20, the notice will be displayed and the {amount_under} variable will be equal to $10.

An optional threshold amount can be added, which is the amount to activate the notice. If set, the cart must contain at least this total amount for the notice to be displayed.

Required: WooCommerce Cart Notices is a premium WooCommerce extension included with WordPress Ecommerce Hosting or as a standalone purchase.

An Minimum Amount Cart Notice can be created by:

  2. Go to WooCommerce > Cart Notices.
  3. Select the New Notice tab.
  4. Select Minimum Amount from the Type menu.
  5. Enter a name for the notice in the Name field.
  6. Create your custom Notice Message. A basic notice is provided to get you started, as well as the variables related to the notice type.
  7. Enter Call to Action text (optional) - This text will be rendered next to the cart notice.
  8. Enter a Call to Action URL (optional) - This specifies where the user will go upon clicking the Call to Action button.
  9. Enter a Target Amount (optional) - The cart total must be less than this amount for the notice to be displayed.
  10. Enter a Threshold Amount (optional) - This is the amount to activate the notice. If set, the cart must contain at least this total amount for the notice to be displayed.
  11. Select the Create Cart Notice button.
