Disable comments for a single WordPress post

Within WordPress you can disable comments for a single post, instead of disabling them for the entire site. Disabling comments can help prevent comment SPAM.

1. Log in to WordPress.
2. Click Posts
3. Click Edit for the Post you wish to modify
4. Click the Screen Options menu in the top-right corner
5. Check the box next to Discussion
6. Scroll down to the newly added Discussion section
7. Uncheck the "Allow Comment" box
8. Click Update
