Do you support streaming audio on your servers?

Using the HTTP streaming method, we support the streaming of preloaded clips from our servers in a variety of formats, including RealAudio, MP3, and others.

You will need to generate the clips yourself, and then upload them to the server via FTP.  To activate the stream, a simple HTML link to the item will start the download of the clip, and once the buffer is full on the receiving machine, the clip will start to play back.

Should you discover that a certain file extension seems to cause issues with the streaming of content to some machines, it may be that the registry on the recipient’s machine is unable to recognise the file type involved.  We recommend that you stick to the more widely supported streaming formats.

RTSP streaming of media and the streaming of video contact are not currently supported on our servers.
