How do I access the shared secure server available for my account?

If your account comes with access to our secure web server, you can use it to accept data securely on your website, which is convenient for e-commerce or other data you need to keep protected.

To use it, link to the following URL whenever you need to securely load a page:

https://[server-name].secure-secure.co.uk/[your-domain]/

Where [server-name] is the server your account is on, and [your-domain] is your domain name.

You can find which server you are on by going to your eXtend Control Panel and looking at ‘Web Server’ under ‘Account Info’ in the right-hand column.

So, for example, if your domain name is www.thisismydomain.com and you are on server web5, your secure server access would be:

https://web5.secure-secure.co.uk/thisismydomain.com/

And if you wanted your login.html page to be a secure page, you would link to:

https://web5.secure-secure.co.uk/thisismydomain.com/login.html

Please remember to use https:// when linking to the secure server.

If you are a Reseller, you will also need to enable Secure Server Access for the domain and/or hosting package. This can be done while creating or editing a hosting package, under ‘E-Commerce’.  It will take up to one hour for the server to become active after you enable it.
