How do I set up reverse DNS on my server?

To set up reverse DNS for a VPS or Hybrid Server, you can go to your Account > Manage VPS/Hybrid Servers > The server in question > The IP/DNS tab > Click edit. From here, enter the new hostname for the IP address. This will take around 24 hours to fully update.

When you would like to set up reverse DNS for a Dedicated Server or to add another IP to the hostname for a VPS or Hybrid Server, please raise a Support Ticket with the Customer Services team.

When you raise the ticket, please provide the following information:

• The hostname that should resolve back to the server’s IP address
• The IP address of the server that needs the reverse DNS

To make certain you do not suffer from mail delivery issues, the hostname you provide should resolve to your server.
