MWP - Domains & Website Setup - How to assign your domain

You can assign your own domain to your website either during setup or after the website has already been created. Follow the steps below based on your situation.

Assign a Domain While Creating Your Website.

• Begin creating your website by following the guide “Extendify – Create Website.”
• When prompted to choose a domain, select Use a domain that you own.
• Enter the domain you would like to use.
• Continue with the setup to finish creating your website.

 

Assign a Domain to an Existing Website 

• If your website was initially created using a temporary domain, you can update it at any time: 
• Go to the Websites page in your dashboard.
• Find the website you want to update.
• Click the three dots (⋮) on the right side of the website.
• Select Modify Domain.
• Enter the domain you want to assign to the website. 
• You will see a message that says“Updating domain records.”
• Refresh the page to complete the process.
