General platform
This is the general area of the Managed WordPress package which allows you to create, manage, update and delete your sites.
In this area you generally have all the main control points for the sites, including accessing each WP dashboard, accessing the File Manager as well as settings for each individual site.
File management
File management is restricted to only web based access via the File Manager. FTP is not allowed.
To access the File manager for all the sites hosted in this Managed WordPress instance you can use the button on the left hand side.
Once accessed, to check the site files, you will need to access the public_html directly, and then each site will have their own sub directory.
Site management
This area will allow you to manage and perform multiple actions for your website.
From where you can set the site in maintenance mode, clone it, create a staging site for it, as well as managing the Plugin and Themes without needed to access the WP dashboard.
It will also give you useful information such as the SSL status, any detectable vulnerabilities in your plugins, enabling or disabling auto updates for WordPress and the plugins used, enabling CDN as well as showing a report of the traffic the site gets.
In the Advanced tab, you will have further access to managing the Database, as well as updating the PHP version used for the site. Please be aware that at the moment we only support PHP 7.4, 8.0 and 8.2.
In the Logs section you will be able to see the recent logs such as warnings or errors that might occur on the site.
Changing the domain on a site
This can be done from the Settings section, and should be the first option. If the domain you are changing to is using our Name Servers, the DNS to point it to the Managed WordPress hosting will be done automatically.
