Why can I only see one disk on my RAID server?

Our servers have RAID mirroring configured at the BIOS level.

RAID mirroring is a storage virtualisation technology that combines your multiple disk drives into a single logical unit.  This gives you more protection against unrecoverable sector errors and whole disk failure.

With RAID mirroring, if one disk fails, the server carries on as normal with no loss of service.
